National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation

NACLA is a voluntary cooperation of regulators, specifiers, accreditation bodies and laboratories working toward a common goal:  standardization of laboratory accreditations throughout the industry.  NACLA is unique in that it is the only cooperation in which regulators and specifiers play an active role in the formulation of evaluation criteria including review and approval of accreditation bodies.

2. Evaluation Procedure for Accreditation Bodies Assessing to Technical Requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540.3,Subclause 5.3 (Z540.3).

3. Evaluation Procedure for Accreditation Bodies Assessing to Technical Requirements for Construction and Materials Testing (CMET).

NACLA has a cooperative MoU with the

American Council of Independent Laboratories.
